"The key to great design is capturing the spirit of the client and the essence of the space."
Meet Jacquelyn, Owner/Head Designer
Jacquelyn Lindsey attended Louisiana State University where she earned a degree in interior design and a minor in fine art. After several years of experience in the design industry, Jacquelyn got a deep burning desire to launch her own design business. After much ground work JL Studio Designs was born! Let’s GEUAX!
Jacquelyn often says that if she was not a human she would probably be a chameleon because of her unique ability to work with a range of colors and adapt to different design styles and personalities. As a designer one of her signatures is to create an “unexpected WOW-Factor!” Between her passion for design and her goal to make people happy, Jacquelyn brings an invaluable skill set to all her projects!

Meet Anna, Assistant Designer
Anna Smith attended the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated in 2018 with a bachelors degree in Interior Design. Growing up in Mobile, Alabama and working under designers since early high school, she gained a great understanding of residential design along the gulf coast. Her favorite design style is mixing modern with elements of antiquity. P.S. Don’t underestimate that sweet smile because Anna is an absolute BEAST at pumping out meticulous design drawings in the most tech savvy computer programs! She loves the attention to detail aspect that comes with being a designer.

Meet Karen, Co-Designer
Karen Tolbert has an associate degree in interior design and 20 plus years of experience working in the design industry. Although we wish we were all related, we sadly are not. Whomp whomp! However, we like to refer to Karen as our “Design Mom,” because she brings oh so much wisdom to the design table! Karen loves to think about the logistics of design and how pieces will be fabricated or installed. She is always up for solving a complicated brain teaser! Her favorite design style is Mid-Century modern but she enjoys meeting people and working within all styles to meet the client’s aesthetic.
